- Fit for Service – Achieving the minimum requirements to qualify for a contractor’s standard warranty, which only lasts 1-2 years, AND
- Intended Service Life-Cycle – Meeting or exceeding the manufacturer or engineering specified performance standards to ensure a system achieves its maximum intended service life-cycle.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
My name is Steven Wadsworth, founder of Wadsworth Inspection Services. I am a NACE Certified Coating Inspector – Level 3 and a SSPC Concrete Coating Inspector – Level 2. In addition, I am an instructor for NACE International teaching both Level 1 and Level 2 CIP courses.
I began working in industrial coatings as a salesman for an installer. Later I became a manufacturer’s technical service rep. After that, I owned a specialty paint and coating supply company. Along the way I gained my NACE and SSPC certifications and worked as an independent inspector for many years.
My experience in all areas of the industry made me realize that owners need a liaison with industry knowledge who can ensure that they are being represented on their projects.

- Daily, detailed reporting with images. Individually customized inspection plans and reports that show full transparency throughout the whole process.
- Broad range of experience and background. Our team works in concert with each other to draw on all of our experiences, history and knowledge. Most of our team are NACE Level 3 certified, but we all have other specialties and other certifications.
- Internal auditing and quality assurance. Each inspection report is first reviewed by our operations manager and then again by our owner (both NACE Level 3 Certified) to ensure accuracy and completion prior to final submittal to the client.
- Forefront knowledge and active participation in the industry Our team strives to be involved in industry advancements and improvements. Our founder is an active member of several organizations and is an instructor for NACE International, helping to train and foster the next generation of QC Technicians. We care about our industry and want to participate as it grows and becomes better.

For some clients and owners, getting “Fit for Purpose” workmanship is simply not good enough. How do you know when the contractor is pushing the envelope and taking a chance with site conditions? How will you know when they are rolling the dice or hoping for the best? What are they doing when you are not there to watch them? What decisions are they making on your behalf for their benefit?

Our job is simple: we enforce the highest standard allowed by your project documents. We ensure the contractor meets the level of performance they have already contractually agreed to provide you with. We provide sufficient documentation and reporting to paint a picture of what happens over the course of your project.
